great location next door to the old town, would recommend that if you are staying here that you book a sea view for a few extra pounds. room spotless, a bit dated but fantastic place to stop if your going for a chill weekend. staff were friendly and even let us stay in our rooms until we were due to go to the airport for no extra charge so didn't have to wonder around like lost souls all day. staff in the hotels restuarant well thats a different story, the little spanish man was so sweet and would do anything for you such as taxis every night and extra measures in your drink however the to girls that worked there were so rude and looked at you in discuss, that could of been the fact that it was two woman together there to enjoy themselves so avoid them if you can they are not very welcoming. however all in all had a great time and would stay there again. nice cheap hotel but very clean. it is not the ritz but you get what you pay for. i am a fussy person when it comes to things being clean and this was great. can't wait to go next year, the old town is fab. happy holidays !!!!!

the noise dont stay here if you want to get to sleep before 5 am, we asked to move but were told we would have to pay extra. the hotel needs to be refurbish it is very dated.

it was a great value hotel and comfortable and clean the view was superb and the location was perfect as it was a quiet area

Hard to find by car, maps on the internet were not helpful, garage was nearby which was good, I couldnt find a key drop as I needed to leave the keys when leaving early in the morning before the reception staff were not in, so if there is not one perhaps this could be made available. The windows did not lock well

The location is excellent on the seafront next to the old Town which is ideal for the Gay Nightlife. However its essential that you book a seaview room otherwise you are faceing a dismal back street.

The apartments do not have any maid service, you just get 1 visit in 7 days to change the towels, the bin was overflowing, and you had to make your own beds and keep the place tidy!

I love this little gem.been there 4 times now.handy for everything.rooms are a bit noisy just your luck how noisy.my last trip was 3nights.slept like a baby 2of them the third was quite noisy but i take earplugs and it didnt really affect my sleep.ive been in a lot noisier in Benidorm.The staff are lovely and also the don cesar bar/bistro is very nice for a drink overlooking the sea.and its Ice-cream heaven!!!!!!! Loads of eating joints on the doorstep i dont think you can do better fot the money and the rooms have everything you need freezer kettle cooker,you wont be dissapointed.

Parking expensive and not close by. no what to do in case of fire notices. tired appearance of the room but you get what you pay for

Location is superb, nice flat, "no english tv but who needs it your in spain" absolutely superb view on sunny beach front location at the end of the beach ideal for tapas alley and the old town, and a level walk along the front. We loved it. If you arrive late your keys are left at the cafe bar below. If your a 3am flight then email them first as its not a 24 hr reception in the winter. all in all we had a great time at don cesar and will go back.

We would like to say that Don Cesar, was very nice, basic and clean. We enjoyed our stay and was glad to be at the best part of old town Benidorm.There were some fantastic tapas bars and drinking houses around the hotel. Overall the experience was very good. I would stay there again.

Even though i refer to the above, our room was at the back of the hotel which was on a small road leading round to the front. This road at night and morning was very busy and became very noisy. It did not spoil our stay just thought i would mention it.

The hotel is basically OK - the rooms are good value and the location is excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, although the restricted opening hours of reception may be an issue for some. It is only yards from the beach, and the old town is on the doorstep.

What was annoying (and not the hotels fault) was that we had a room with a side sea view, and the road underneath was a meeting place - itself not an issue, but the building opposite acted as an echo-chamber, and the room was very noisy until @ 5.00 am. It was only people talking and laughing, but it stopped me sleeping. The only other thing to note was that the building next door is a college (which started at 8.00 am) so it felt a little uncomfortable sat on the balcony being watched by a class of students. Both these issues may be resolved by booking a front sea view.

everything was excellent except poor lighting m especially in bedroom. location was amazing, yards from the beach

Very very noisy with bar just a few feet away and you have a constant flow of Spanish teens roaming up and down shouting. I would not recomend this hotel if you want to sleep. We were there 5 days and never had the towels changed once. Room was not very clean.
